Partners in Compassion Institute

It's time for the 2010 Partners in Compassion Institute!

The PIC Institute was founded to help faith- and community-based groups that benefit the homeless, at-risk youth or senior citizens in Lexington, Richland, Fairfield, Newberry, Calhoun or Orangeburg counties. Participation in the Institute is granted on a competitive basis. Selected participants receive staff and volunteer training, technical assistance, and financial assistance to strengthen the organization's ability to lead, market, operate and raise money.
To find out more or to apply for the program, please contact Kimberly House at khouse@uway.org or 803.758.6983 OR Bunnie Lempesis-Ward at Blempesis@uway.org or 803.758.6982.

In addition to providing assistance to a new group of faith and community-based groups, The Partners In Compassion Institute is providing a free community workshop designed to inform service providers about wonderful community resources that are available and sometimes untapped. The workshops are scheduled and open to anyone interested in attending.
