Born Learning

In cooperation with United Way of the Midlands, WLTX-TV provides the community's children with the best possible learning situation with the Born Learning project. Born learning is designed to provide awareness and educational resources to parents, grandparents and everyone who comes in contact with a child.

The Born Learning campaign provides important information about what young children need everyday to ensure quality early learning by supporting parents, grandparents and caregivers. The innovative multi-media campaign provides information on every aspect of child rearing including healthcare, nutrition, education, safety and social development.

With news stories, phone banks and television messages, the campaign promotes learning about:

Understanding and responding to your baby's needs.
Taking care of yourself so you can care for your child.
Talking, singing and reading to your child.
Creating a predictable world for your child.
Providing a warm and loving environment.
