Change a child’s life. Just an hour a week can make the difference between whether a child advances to the next grade, or even graduates from high school. We need your help to make a difference.
The Midlands Reading Consortium (MRC) is a volunteer tutoring initiative targeting pre-kindergarten through third-grade students. Tutors focus on improving language skills and reading proficiency. MRC will provide all the training and tutoring materials you need to close the achievement gap and ensure that all students perform at grade level.
Anyone can volunteer!
Working professionals, retirees, college students -- if you're willing to volunteer, you can change a child's life forever. This program was designed so that even working professionals can leave their office, tutor and be back in an hour. Sign up today!
