February 2010: Jeff Hsiang/The Cooperative Ministry (CM)
1. Where are you from? Columbia, SC.
2. What were you doing before becoming an AmeriCorps VISTA? Studying seminary at Columbia International University.
3. Why did you join AmeriCorps VISTA? Felt like it was something I was called to do for a year.
4. What are your duties as a VISTA? Volunteer recruitment and marketing.
5. What are your goals from your year of service? Learn how much poverty has impacted Columbia and make a difference in alleviating that impact.
6. What are your plans after your year of service? To return to seminary.
7. Any special accomplishments? I was able to set up Free Financial Literacy classes in different areas of Columbia.
