Program Spotlight: Transportation to Health Care Services
Many
people are aware of the health insurance crisis facing our community. However,
you may not be aware that one of the largest barriers to receiving care is
transportation. United Way of the Midlands set out to meet this need by
providing a grant to the Free Medical Clinic to provide patients with
transportation to health services.
