April 2022 Cocktails & Conversations

At Cocktails & Conversations, donors of United Way of the Midlands Young Leaders Society (YLS) and Tocqueville Society come together to reflect on community issues and share ideas on topics ranging from volunteerism to leadership development. Join us at the Palmetto Club on April 28 at 5:30 PM.

YLS donors gain insight from those who have been long-standing community leaders regarding the progress that has been made in our community, the potential for its future, and what they, as emerging community leaders, should focus on to make it happen.

Tocqueville Society donors are able to tap into the passion of the younger generations to further create positive change and a deeper, long-lasting impact. The result of these multi-generational conversations between leaders is a collaboration where no matter the age, community leaders come together to discuss successes, lessons learned, and a fuller understanding of Columbia’s most important issues.

This annual event is an exclusive opportunity for YLS members and Tocqueville Society donors to come together and learn from one another. Both groups are working hard to make a difference and the conversations that take place generate energy that can only be produced as a result of an intentional gathering such as this.

Everyone here is truly invested in making an impact on the community in which we all share.
