Driving Down Main offers an innovative and fun way for busy people to engage across industries through friendly competition while creating change in our community. This one-of-a-kind 9-Hole charity event will be played on the Player's Club Member favorite Jack Nicklaus Signature Quivira Los Cabos course.
With a round of golf, you're helping United Way create generational change by meeting immediate needs, breaking cycles of crisis, and empowering people to build their own paths to success.
WHERE DOES MY DONATION GO?
Funds raised through Driving Down Main go towards the Midlands Reading Consortium (MRC), a signature program of United Way aimed to help increase the number of children reading at grade level by the start of fourth grade and improving their chances of graduating on time.
By recruiting and training volunteer community readers to read one-on-one with students throughout the school year, MRC helps children build reading comprehension, literacy, and vocabulary skills. They offer one-on-one reading sessions, guest reading, summer reading camp assistance, and book donations.
