    We are passionate about cultivating the next generation of nonprofit female board members. It has been a privilege getting to know these amazing WIP women in the United Way Blueprint for Leadership program and learning about the most effective way to help lead a nonprofit.

  • Join us for the Food for Thought Breakfast: Will University on March 21!


    Join Women in Philanthropy's Will University on Thursday, March 21 for our Food for Thought breakfast from 8-9 a.m. as we celebrate 15 years of impact via the United Way of the Midlands WIP Endowment Fund!

    The breakfast will be held at the Central Carolina Community Foundation’s (CCCF) brand new office space (Bull Street District, 2142 Boyce St, Suite 402 // Columbia, SC 29201).

  • Buy a Holiday Wreath to Benefit Homeless No More


    Believe it or not, the holiday season is just a few weeks away! Order a beautiful wreath to hang on your front door (or anywhere else!) while making a difference for the families living at Homeless No More.

    The deadline to order is Thursday, October 25.

    All wreaths can be picked up or will be delivered after Thanksgiving. 

  • 3rd Annual Breaking Barriers Employment Resource Fair


    United Way of the Midlands and Richland Library will host its third annual Breaking Barriers Employment Resource Fair October 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

    In partnership with the Midlands Area Consortium for the Homeless (MACH), this event will be held at Richland Library located at 1431 Assembly Street.

    Griffin Ball is a junior at the University of South Carolina studying Tourism Management and Business Administration. On campus she is involved in Greek Life as an active member in Chi Omega in addition to being a University Ambassador.
