YOUTH & RESILIENCY TRAINING: HUMAN TRAFFICKING AWARENESS

United Way’s Youth and Resiliency Training Series continues with Human Trafficking Awareness Training, designed to introduce the issue of human trafficking and provide trainees with information on types of trafficking, tactics, indicators, etc.

Led by Elizabeth Rummel, Anti-Human Trafficking Trainer for RCCASA.

This training is designed to introduce the issue of human trafficking. This training will provide trainees with information on the definition of human trafficking, types of trafficking and tactics used by traffickers to recruit victims, indicators that an individual may be a victim of human trafficking, special considerations for minor trafficking victims, traumatic impacts of this crime and what to do if you suspect human trafficking.

Elizabeth Rummel is the Anti-Human Trafficking Project Coordinator for RCCASA where she trains the community in human trafficking and serves as the Guardian ad Litem for human trafficking survivors in DSS custody. Passionate about empowering others, she graduated from the University of South Carolina with her MSW.
