Midlands families invited to United Way’s United Night Out

United Way is thrilled to invite Midlands families for an unforgettable evening of community engagement, learning, and giving back at United Night Out on Oct. 12 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Junction 800.

“This event will provide a unique opportunity for everyone to dive deep into the heart of United Way's mission and discover the positive impact United Way makes in our community,” said Sara Fawcett, President and CEO of United Way of the Midlands.

United Night Out is a celebration of unity and resilience. At the heart of this night lives our Resiliency Drive in support of Resilient Midlands. Running until Oct. 5, this initiative aims to collect essential items to bolster the community's resilience. You can contribute by purchasing items from our Amazon Wishlist, ensuring that your support directly benefits those in need.

For those who want to roll up their sleeves and make a hands-on difference, our sorting station awaits their helping hands. Guests can assist in organizing and packing the donated items, and experience firsthand the positive change that United Way brings to the community.

United Night Out isn't just about lending a helping hand; it's about building connections. Connect with passionate community members, volunteers, and donors who share your commitment to community betterment, discover your unique role in our mission, and become an integral part of a vibrant community of changemakers.

As a token of our appreciation for your support, we'll be offering light bites and refreshing sips, including beer and wine. Plus, there will be exciting activities like face painting and more to keep the entire family entertained.

Don't miss this opportunity for enlightenment, philanthropy, and community engagement at United Night Out. Together, we can create a lasting impact and strengthen our community’s resilience.

Tickets can be purchased online at uway.org/events.
