2026-2029 Community Impact Plan
United Way aims to tackle some of society’s most pressing issues—improving economic sufficiency, increasing childhood literacy, and expanding access to healthcare. In 2025, we updated our previous Community Assessment to share our progress over the past few years and take a look ahead at how the needs in our community have evolved. The information in the Community Assessment helped inform our strategy for the 2026-2029 Community Impact Plan. Both documents are available to read below.

What We Do
Only United Way has the resources to provide large-scale solutions to pervasive community problems. By providing support when it's needed most, we interrupt a common pattern where emergencies can multiply. Addressing the root issues in the moment stops the cycle of crisis and gives families the opportunity to thrive—today, tomorrow, and for generations to come.
