2023 Cocktails & Conversations

Come out and engage in multi-generational conversations between established and emerging community leaders during this exclusive event curated for donors of United Way of the Midlands Young Leaders Society (YLS) and Tocqueville Society.

Cocktails & Conversations is a collaboration bridging community leaders together, regardless of age, to discuss successes, lessons learned, and gain a fuller understanding of Columbia’s most important issues.

The annual event is a unique opportunity for YLS members and Tocqueville Society donors to come together and learn from one another. Both groups work hard to make a difference and these conversations generate energy that can only be produced as a result of an intentional gathering such as this. YLS donors gain insight from established community leaders on progress made in our community, the potential for its future, and what our rising community leaders should focus on to make it happen. Tocqueville Society donors are able to tap into the passion of the younger generations to foster positive change and a deeper, long-lasting impact.

The event will be held at the Capital City Club on March 16 at 5:30PM. It is a free event, but pre-registration by March 3rd is required.
