Invisible Wounds of Childhood Emotional Abuse and Neglect

Childhood emotional abuse and neglect can cause serious damage and is often tough to identify and treat. In this workshop, local expert Kelly Wuest with Children's Trust of South Carolina joins us to explore the visible, emotional and behavioral signs of neglect and emotional abuse, the long term impact of these childhood traumas, and provide an overview of the available resources for supporting someone who has experienced these types of abuse.
