Tuesday Talks: Mastering the Side Hustle AKA: Intentional Self-Employment
Tuesday, June 2, 2020 | 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM.
Side Hustle - making money outside of your day job or earning money after retirement without taking on a second job. This kind of intentional self-employment takes an entrepreneurial spirit.
Always United invites you to tune in on Tuesday, June 2 at noon as J. Thomas Ledbetter, Associate Vice Provost for Entrepreneurship and Educational Support of Midlands Technical College, presents Mastering the Side Hustle.
According to Tom, “There are many variables, obstacles, potholes, and overall risks that need to be known and understood when pursuing an entrepreneurial undertaking the obvious entry point for many is to start slowly...today known as the side hustle. This is even more relevant to our 60+ citizens who may not have the reserves to recover from a failed attempt. We will talk about all of these and more during this short presentation!”
This is a live event that will start promptly at noon. It is not necessary to register but if you would like any hand-outs or materials from the presenter please email AlwaysUnited@uway.org.
