Understanding and Responding to Complex Trauma

Understanding and Responding to Complex Trauma,

Children who have experienced complex trauma often have difficulty identifying, expressing, and managing their emotions. They often internalize and/or externalize stress reactions and as a result may experience significant depression, anxiety, or anger. If left untreated, it can permanently affect their growth and development and have effects decades later.

Join United Way’s Virtual Youth & Resiliency Training Series for a 2-part learning session on understanding and responding to complex trauma. Discover how we can help kids who have experienced trauma heal and what enables those same children to thrive.
